Our clients had recently extended their house and wanted to create a substantial area for relaxing and entertaining, featuring a new swimming pool.

The design work was undertaken by Esse Landscapes and features a large terrace adjoining the new extension, with swimming pool, Renson Camargue pergola, outdoor Grillo kitchen, feature walling and planting beds.

Beyond the main terrace, a Breedon gravel path leads to a vegetable garden. The remainder of the garden is planted and laid to lawn.

For the planting, we worked closely with Nightingale Design, who also sourced the plants.

For efficiency, the pool incorporates a solar-gain automatic cover. Additional heating is provided by an air source heat pump.

The whole area is lit at night, to provide a stunning backdrop to the house.
